TBV celebrates 20 years - Len and JohnThe Tamborine Bush Volunteers (TBV) have been caring for Tamborine National Park since May 1988.  To celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the group, an informal afternoon tea was held recently at the picnic grounds at The Knoll Section of Tamborine National Park.  This event brought together some past and present members and local supporters.

TBV celebrates 20 years - TBV GroupJohn Johnstone, former Ranger in Charge of the QPWS base on Tambourine Mountain saw the benefits of having a volunteer group to assist him with tasks that rangers were unable to fit into their work program.  John still lives on Tamborine Mountain and is an enthusiastic supporter of the work done by the TBV.  Everyone welcomed the opportunity to meet up again.

The TBV meets for a working bee on the first Saturday of each month and welcomes new members at any time.   We have members of all ages, from the young to the mature and each member works at his/her own pace and puts in the time that can be spared.  If you are interested, please Contact the TBV Coordinator
