Walkers – Colin - Distance: - 12.5k

Today I followed the route behind the Adventure Trails Farm. There is a 4 wheel drive track which goes behind the barbed wire fence property boundary. Therefore bushwalkers are free to climb to Turtle Rock without encroaching on private property.

I arrived at the summit of Turtle Rock at 10:00am which was perfect time for Smoko and rest. Plenty of time to wander back down the same route and then make my way out to Nixon Creek and down to Egg Rock.

I arrived at the base of Egg Rock at 12:15pm and had a leisurely lunch and a dip in Nixon Creek as it was hot. A very refreshing stop.

So there is plentyy of time to do both Turtle Rock and Egg Rock and go up the gully to the climb point and be back in plenty of time for refreshments at the Cafe near the Numinbah Hall - Colin.
